The Platforms

Learn what a Platform is in Mipise Payment Services and why it exists.

Introduction

In Mipise Payment Services (MPS), all client data, operations, and configurations are contained inside what we call a platform. However, this concept is essential to guarantee data isolation, regulatory compliance, and business flexibility across all Mipise Payment Services users.

Definition

A platform is an independent environment within Mipise Payment Services. It defines the perimeter of data, users, and payment operations belonging to one specific environement.

Each platform includes:

  • Its own Users, Persons, and Accounts
  • Its own KYC and transactional history
  • Its own API configuration and credentials
  • Its own business and regulatory logic

You can think of it as your dedicated instance of MPS, fully secured, isolated, and tailored to your needs.

Utility (even if you only have one)

Every client of MPS operates in a segregated data space, ensuring that no information is shared between agents.
Even if you only have one platform, this separation offers several long-term benefits:

  • Security & Compliance: strict data isolation between platforms.
  • Regulatory Adaptability: specific rules (e.g. ESFP) can be applied per platform.
  • Business Scalability: clients can later manage several platforms, e.g. one for B2B and another for B2C.
  • Configuration Freedom: each platform has its own API keys, webhook URLs, and operational parameters.

💡 Even with a single platform, you already benefit from this structure, your operations are fully sandboxed and ready to scale.
